  • Free Athletic Physicals Offered

    Tuesday, May 3 is the date for this year's FREE athletic physicals. These are for ALL Middle and High School students, for all school sports for the 2016-2017 school year. Physical cards can be picked up in the school office - and need to be complete and signed in advance. Check out the flyer for details and TIMES.

  • Art Show

    Hastings High School and Middle School presents their Spring art show on Saturday, April 30. It will be presented at the CERC from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Check out the amazing drawings, paintings, and sculptures!

  • Save the Date to Celebrate HHS/HMS

    Before the construction begins to replace the 1917 portion of Hastings Middle School, join fellow Saxons at HMS for a celebration on May 22 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Meet up with classmates, take photos, tour the facility, sign up to receive a brick, and more. When the time gets closer, visit our website again for an updated schedule of events, but mark your calendars now for May 22!

  • Substitute Teachers & Bus Drivers Needed!

    Hastings Area Schools are in need of both substitute teachers and bus drivers! If you are interested in substitute teaching, please visit www.edustaff.org for application materials.   • New Donation Opportunities Announced

    Hastings Area School System receives many donations from generous community members near and far. Our District Accountability Committee (DAC) recommended an easier process through our website. Check out this new homepage for information on the existing Hastings Educational Enrichment Foundation (HEEF) as well as the newly established direct giving program.

  • Facility Requests now submitted online!

    Hastings Area School District is now taking facility requests online through our CommunityUse calendar and request system. You can enroll online and enter requests for after-hours facility usage by following the simple steps outlined in these 2 documents.

  • Parents of Puzzles Meeting
    Where: Barry Community Enrichment Center, 231 South Broadway, Hastings.
    When: 4th Tuesday of the month, 6:00 to 7:00, Child care provided
    Meeting will be informational and have a social.
    We are an association of parents, and others who actively seek to support meaningful participation in all aspects of life for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families in Barry County.
